FOUR ingredient Shrimp

Have you ever tasted shrimp so juicy and well seasoned with natural herbs and spices that your mouth just water. I made some shrimp while I was out on vacation and all I had was my seasoning I was promoting. I had to make them perfect I had guest stopping by.

I drove out to the market and picked up some 3 ingredients and went back to my AirBnB. I had only an hour to get an light meal prepared. I had already had shrimp out in the fridge. The ingredients I choose were fresh garlic, butter, and cilantro. I had my own all purpose seasoning “The Blend”.

Just like that, this perfect plate was created! They were so juicy and scrumptious that we couldn’t handle it. Everyone tried being polite however table manners went out the way as the shrimp got low. I used no lemon on this meal. However you may. I took about 10 single cilantro , 3 bulbs on garlic, one stick of butter, and 1tspn 1/2 of the my all purpose seasoning.

The salad I also sprinkled with cilantro, tomatoes, carrots, red onion, cucumber, and a dash of my seasoning. Wow, what a perfect meal. It’s light and fulfilling with a great flavor to it.

My all purpose seasoning “The Blend” is low on sodium. I like to focus or more natural herbs and spices to create the perfect flavors. This seasoning can be enjoyed with any meal.

For this soup I simply added my ingredients and it would go in the fridge for later when someone wants it. When this time come all that is needed is water. I’ve added all ingredients which can be steamed cooked quick by adding hot water and allowing it to sit for a few minutes.

Sea Moss Face Mask? Say what

Yes, you read that right. You can you sea moss gel as a face mask to help clean your pores. It offers so many benefits like antibacterial and antiviral properties, it tightens sagging skin, it’s very hydrating, and more! Many are just now catching on to the benefits that sea moss offers but the truth is , the use of it has been around for years.

When I first heard of sea moss , I was probably like many others, it was only to mix it with food or a drink. I must say I didn’t try to add it to my food but I loved it in my smoothies. I would add about 1-3tsp of sea moss to my smoothie drink every morning. I noticed a different pep in my step as each morning came. It had become something I looked forward to everyday. After I had done some experimenting and reading I decided to try the sea moss on my face!

I am a female in my 30’s and I still experience some acne breakouts to my face. Here recently it seem to have gotten worse so I decided to try some new things. I had read on how sea moss gel could be used as an face mask. The consistency of the gel is thick but I never thought it would turn out the way it did. I looked at this gel on my face and could not help but to think “wtf” was this on my face. It looked like something I can’t say (lol). However I continued. I could not believe how quick I could see some changes.

I would take a makeup brush and just about a teaspoon of sea moss gel. There is no need to wet your face prior to use. Simply apply the gel onto your face. You can even spread over your eyebrows (no harm done). The gel is cold, due to it being kept in the fridge just keep spreading. You don’t want to pack it on either. A little seriously goes a long way. I applied a thin layer, many times having left over gel from the teaspoon used.

Allow the gel to fully dry. This may take 20-30 minutes depending on how thin or thick your layer is on your face. Try to keep your face still. You will feel it working as your pores starts to tighten up.

Once it dries then move your face around to break the tight seal the sea moss gel has made. This will also help when it’s time for you to wash your face.

It washes off very easy with warm water. You instantly feel your pores tighten and your skin smooth as a baby’s bottom. As for the acne breakouts, yes I did see some of the inflammation go down which caused for them to start going away. Keep in mind I also have a regular face routine that I continued while using the sea moss gel. It definitely won my vote!

10 Meal Prep Ideas

If you’ve been home during the recent pandemic, getting out to get food and trying to work can still seem time consuming. Maybe it’s not the time, it could be just the fear of getting out. Meal preps are still an option to maintain your eating habits and a healthy option. I’ve taken everyday ingredients and made ten meals to sort out over the next few days.

As these are my ideas, feel free to add or substitute ingredients as you go. The world is full of yummy options and spices and herbs to create a masterpiece. I ridge you to create your masterpiece.

Mason Jar Salads

For the option of the salads I opt to hold them in mason jars simply because it holds the freshness. It’s completely up to you as to how much you put inside or to have it on the go. For two I these salads I created an Avocado Salad with Chicken that’s been marinated in Jerk Spices. I also created a Caribbean Shrimp salad.

BBQ Chicken and Lime Rice

I think this one is self explanatory. I didn’t grill it however. I mainly incorporated the grilling flavors with sauces and spices.

Teriyaki Salmon

Salmon can be perfectly made several different ways. For this prep I choose to smack it down in the cast iron and let it sizzle til it popped.

Green Bean Stir Fry

I love the bright colors this dish gives. If you’re a shrimp lover this dish is for you!

Baked Chicken topped with Italian Tomatoes

I wish you could smell the aroma from this dish. Perfectly seasoned and paired with medium spice Italian tomatoes.
